David Staume in his Awesome book Sex in the Afterlife, teaches us that the “source of our sexual energy is the SUN. This energy can be sent downward for the pursuit of pleasure (genital orgasm) or upward for the pursuit of higher purpose (to reach enlightenment through chastity-seminal retention). And when it is sent upward, it follows existing energy pathways to our head.
Our evolutionary pathway-our reason for living, our fundamental purpose-is to receive energy from the sun, learn to amplify it and transpose it from our lower chakras to our higher chakras, and return it to its source-the SUN. In the Tantra Tradition, this is also known as Kundalini awakening.
