Masturbation:
The Cleveland Clinic teaches: “"In general, the medical community considers masturbation to be a natural and harmless expression of sexuality for both men and women. It does not cause any physical injury or harm to the body, and can be performed in moderation throughout a person's lifetime as a part of normal sexual behavior."
Seminal Retention:
Dherbs.com teaches:” Masturbation can be healthy for the smart male who masturbates sparingly and sporadically. The wise male absolutely avoids masturbation.
Masturbation:
Dr. Bill Lloyd teaches: “Not only does masturbation have no bad effects; it is probably much healthier than trying to suppress the strong sexual impulses that many men, particularly adolescents, feel. Masturbation provides an important, safe outlet for these impulses, and may well keep men from unsafe practices, such as sex with prostitutes, adulterous affairs, or coercive sex, that is to say rape.”
Seminal Retention:
” A man loses a tremendous amount of life force energy with each ejaculation. Men and young boys need to be taught the art of meditation to help channel and move sexual energy up and through the body to help ease the tension without losing the life force energy. Men can become just as Orgasmic as women, but not if we constantly ejaculate. The goal is not to have the orgasm, but to conserve the energy and become orgasmic.”
Masturbation:
“From a 20th-century medical perspective, I can assure you that this activity in no way affects mental or physical health."
--Dr. Peter Gott, nationally syndicated medical columnist, August 12, 1997
Seminal Retention:
“We are talking about the loss of energy that occurs with excessive ejaculation; which effects mental and physical health.”
Masturbation:
For men, masturbation or regular sex is good for the prostate and can prevent painful prostate blockage. Storing seminal fluids for long periods can also cause prostate congestion, which in turn can lead to urinary and ejaculatory pain. Regular ejaculations can help ward off this condition, also called nonspecific prostatitis A study by Dr. Michael Leitzmann (from the National Cancer Institute) of 29,000 men found "higher elevations of ejaculation appear to protect men from developing prostate cancer." The study suggested that frequent ejaculations may decrease the concentration of "chemical carcinogens which readily accumulate in prostatic fluid."
"Frequent Ejaculations May Counter Prostate Cancer", Apr. 6, 2005, Reuters, By Michael Conlon.
Seminal Retention:
“Ejaculation in Moderation is healthy. No doubt about it. But let us keep in mind that other factors play into prostate health. Such as diet, in a study by Massive Adventist Health it was found that meat-eaters had a 54% increased risk for prostate cancer.”
Masturbation:
“Researcher James Heffley, Ph.D., has determined through scientific studies that a man loses only about half a milligram (mg) of zinc in an ejaculation. This represents only about 4% of our average daily zinc intake. At this rate of loss, only extremely high frequencies of masturbation would deplete the body of zinc.”
Seminal Retention:
“Dr. David Horrobin, an M.D. and Ph.D. from Oxford University, states:
"The amount of zinc in semen is such that one ejaculation may get rid of all the zinc that can be absorbed from the intestines in one day. This has a number of consequences. Unless the amount lost is replaced by an increased dietary intake, repeated ejaculation may lead to a real zinc deficiency with various problems developing, including impotence. "It is even possible, given the importance of zinc
for the brain, that 19th century moralists were correct when they said that repeated masturbation could make one mad!"-Zinc (Vitabooks: St. Albans, Vermont, 1981), p. 8.
This statement is similar to that made by Carl C. Pfeiffer, Ph.D., M.D., in his book on zinc. He declares:
"We hate to say it, but in a zinc-deficient adolescent, sexual excitement and excessive masturbation might precipitate insanity."-Zinc and Other Micro-nutrients (Keats: New Canaan, Conn., 1978), p. 45.
Masturbation:
Another reason why nature designed us to masturbate is to strengthen PC muscles, much like “kegal” exercises.
Seminal Retention:
“One can still practice Kegal exercises’ without spilling semen in vain”
Masturbation:
Use it or Lose it. If a man does not get frequent erections he can lose length in his penis.
Seminal Retention:
“Erection and Ejaculation are two separate events. A man can have erections without spilling the seed."
